Accessibility Statement
Last updated: September 27, 2026
We want everyone to be able to use Rizzky, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, zoom or other assistive technology. This statement covers this website and the Rizzky app.
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, which is the level the European standard EN 301 549 builds on.
Current status
Partially conformant. Most of the website meets WCAG 2.2 AA; the exceptions are listed below.
This statement was prepared on September 27, 2026, based on a self-assessment by the developer.
What we've done on the website
- A "Skip to content" link as the first item on every page.
- All menus, buttons, quizzes and generators work with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
- Pages use headings, landmarks and lists so screen readers can navigate them.
- Option chips in the tools are announced as radio buttons or checkboxes, and new results are announced as they appear.
- Animations stop when your device is set to reduce motion.
- Layouts adapt to small screens and to browser zoom up to 400% without horizontal scrolling on most pages.
- Nothing on the site flashes or plays sound.
Known limitations
- Some secondary text (for example numbering in long lists and small captions) has lower contrast than the rest of the page. We are reviewing it.
- Comparison tables are wide and need horizontal scrolling on small screens.
- Selected options in the tools are shown mainly by a color change. Screen readers announce the selection, but we plan to add a second visual cue.
- Our postal address on the legal pages is shown as an image to protect it from automated collection, so screen readers can't read it out. Email us and we'll send it to you.
- Phone mockups on the homepage are decorative. Their content is described in the surrounding text.
The Rizzky app
What's supported
Buttons and controls have screen reader labels for VoiceOver and TalkBack, text follows your system font size, the app supports light, dark and system appearance, and animations are reduced when your device asks for reduced motion.
Screenshots
Rizzky works by reading screenshots. The extracted text and all results are shown as regular text, so they can be read by screen readers and resized with your system font settings.
Legal basis
The European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882) is implemented in Germany by the Accessibility Strengthening Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz, BFSG), which applies to consumer e-commerce services since 28 June 2025. As a microenterprise (fewer than 10 employees and an annual turnover of no more than EUR 2 million), Rizzky is exempt from the BFSG requirements for services (§ 3(3) BFSG). We publish this statement voluntarily.
Report a barrier
If something on the website or in the app doesn't work for you, or you need information in a different format, email us at rizzkyapp@gmail.com. Please tell us the page or screen and what you were trying to do. We aim to reply within 14 days.
